Unlike any other current barrel nut wrench that is designed for the RIS II & Bolt Up System barrel nut, our barrel nut wrench interfaces with all four slots in the barrel nut. Gunsmith / Small Business Owner

Someone brought in a D.D. upper with the nut all chewed up and teeth corners rounded severely. Knowing Classified Defense had this tool, I ordered it hoping it would help me remove the destroyed nut. The design of this tool is AWESOME... I had no trouble at all loosening the nut. Strong thick wrench that will last a lifetime.

Great Tool, Even Better Customer Service

Purchased this for a DD 300blk SBR upper. Reviewers are correct. Don't waste any more time comparing. This is the only one to buy. Delivered quickly. I also want to comment on Classified's Customer Service. I had some technical questions and concerns. I received clear, concise answers and explanations very quickly. One time, I didn't even remember hitting the send button and when I looked down to send the email, I had already received a response. Thanks again Classified Defense. If you make it and I need it, you're the only place I'm looking.

This Should Be The OEM Wrench That DD Provides

I have gone through literally 3 of Daniel Defense's wrenches with no success and was not sure what to do next when I heard about this wrench. It works like a charm and the best thing of all is that you can reuse it over and over. Classified Defense did a really good job at this and I've even bought other tools from them like the Surefire 4 Prong flash hider wrench (by the way, it works great also). If you are going to buy a RIS II/III rail, do yourself a favor and buy this wrench in advance. If I were Daniel Defense, I would just supply these wrenches as OEM since they are just that good.

I wish I knew about this wrench before I had ordered 2 different spares from DD. Each time I used a DD wrench they would bend out of alignment or lose the teeth making them unusable. Classified Defense really knocked it out of the park with this one because I have used it on subsequent builds with absolutely no issue. Never again will I worry about under-torquing or chewing up a barrel nut again. Overbuilt and thick enough to lock in and torque to spec without slippage, the CD wrench is well worth the extra cash. If you can afford a DD you can spare a little extra to save yourself the MASSIVE headache the factory wrenches will give you. Plus you'll probably save money by buying the CD wrench compared to the number of spare wrenches you'll end up having to buy from DD.

Superior product

The barrel nut wrench that came with my Daniel defense RIS III rails what is a piece of junk. I was so glad to find this product online and it didn’t disappoint me at all. Locked up tight he didn’t slip corners didn’t round out at all. This is a far superior product than what Daniel defense supplies.
